Response—
Working with an amazing Russian illustrator introduced to us by the client, we collaboratively developed a set of infinitely changeable family characters, designed to be the heroes of the channel. We proposed and developed a fun and engaging set of teasers and indents, which were produced for us by specialist character-animation studio Animade. We also developed a custom typeface for all on-air and off-air communications, and comprehensive on-air and off-air guidelines were produced enabling the client to apply its branding consistently across all channels, so maintaining the strong PlusPlus brand look.

Result—
The channel has enjoyed a positive response to the branding. People have embraced the channel and the character families created for it. The channel rebrand garnered a lot of international design press. By hiring an international studio rather than a local agency the PlusPlus brand felt it helped the channel proudly stand apart from their competitors, which typically have a distinctly localised style.
