Concept: My aim was to raise awareness about the reality of present day slavery. Although thought of as a past-horror, slavery is still ever-present throughout the world. Over 20 million slaves are held in captivity today, despite the illegality of slavery in every country. I decided to particularly focus on the specific modern day slavery of human trafficking, which is why I decided to go for a more sexualised aesthetic.
