THREE EVERYWHERE DESIGN
THREE EVERYWHERE, a three layered piece of art made by group of students at Emily Carr University, Ahmed Walwail, Camille Jackson, Bree Sopatyk, Scott Zhao, design decorated to be used in homes already for multiple usage. It is a very sensitive approach to the domestic decoration, which is a good way. Nothing is over the top, but immediately know what is going on. Clean, atmospheric and calm.
Not any colors, still extremely positive and calm wood based design. Balanced the whole interior is, original and warming wooden based work, all placed in three circled layers have that great charm. Every layer contains some good ideas and decor elements.
The layers showing us that even small place can look great and spacious. It can be placed anywhere around the house, first layer contains a Bluetooth speakers that could be connected to your mobile phone, one click to listen to music and sound. The second layer contains a bright white lamp and the third layer is open for extinctions but in general it’s empty space allow to place things inside such as mobile, key chains, notes, purse. All three layers can be joined together smoothly because of the special curves on each layer base and could be easily detached, the main base still there for the three layers to be connected.
These are the combination of basic rules to start a group work, sitting down with a team taking notes, sharing thoughts with each other. Finding a way to communicate with team members is a very important step, it keeps everybody on track, one of the best ways these days is to create a site group or a blog, blogs are flexible, easy to be used and have lots of options such as sharing thoughts, pictures and designs.
The project needed tools such as paper based roll's (1) flexible thin type of wood for better look (2) thick hard wood type (3) glue and rolls (4) double sided tape (5) and smoothing paper (6) besides other tools provided by the wood-shop.
Applying the design by cutting and curving pieces of wood, making the base, placing the light source and putting speakers on. Each layer needed a very careful work; music layer needed small circular holes to give the feeling of the music, besides it could make the voice louder. The light base layer is made from very thin materials to provide the maximum amount of light to spread around the surroundings. Third layer is empty to add extra objects for the users. Each layer needed very accurate measurements, same length and calculations, because they should be connected together on the same time to be easy to separate away from each other. The final image shows the complete design.

Advertising and commercial design represents a practical, real-world application of the visual arts field. Experts create an image that draws the public toward a particular product or service. They use different forms of media to transmit the message, including radio, TV and print. Internet advertising and design is a relatively new field, but it's growing rapidly. This design presented as a short film medium.
Stating with a storyboard for the work, adding notes, ideas bout what we could include in our design. Storyboards are so important to manage the work , it let the team know what we should do. Second step is booking a studio for filming, choosing the right camera lenses and angles before we turn to the step of shooting the actual film. Shooting the film and taking footage for the design needs a special attention, the studio provides lots of light support and backgrounds for producing clear cut work, after finishing shooting the clips the next step is editing and exporting the work.
Finally, this work experience was amazing and great, specially with working with groups, facing difficulties and applying the ideas. Thanks for the great instructor Maxe Fisher for supporting us on each round on this project and the whole Core Design 2 class, 2014, labmations, ahmed walwail.
