The perfect weather app for the designer within us all.
Designing both the [sexy] backend and user interface for a new weather app aimed towards designers and to the visually pleasing eye. Pulling and hosting our own weather API, and making a fully responsive 7 day forecast app for a specific location (in this case Iceland).
There are 6 different background patterns that are responsive to the condition text in the API of the day, and illustrates either Sunny, Cloudy, Partial Rain etc based on the forecast, so the wallpapers will change everytime the daily condition changes.
The max. temp and min. temp for the day is a variable on the first screen as well as on the daily hour-by-hour scrolling interface.
Adding this scrolling feauture allows a simple use of visual icons to display the weather by the hour, whilst still keeping the main interface clean and simple.
