Created in 2007, The DEMOS Movement was elected Board of the Federation of Centers of Students of the University Simon Bolivar on several occasions.
In 2014, as part of their campaign, they decided to give a new image to the movement. The new campaign aims to recruit new volunteers and members in the movement, based on three pillars: the future, excellence and college.
They wanted to renew its image, but without abandoning the concepts underlying the movement. The ideal of being generators of change and progress is the basis of the movement, and its new identity. The color scheme is still the same, orange and blue, but in lighter shades.
The new logo preserves the elements of the previous, so the connection is not lost to the roots, but presents at the end of a spiral that ascends, it gives the idea of progress.
The idea of the spiral not only stems from the feeling that generates progress, it is also a nod to the Fibonacci spiral, an important concept in mathematics, based on the degree programs taught at the University (engineering and science).
