“I Would Like to Thank” is a publication that features a group of famous designers/typographers to inspire young communication designers to better their design crafts and creative explorations. To develop a unique and interesting book title that make sense to the theme, as well as a self generated introduction for the publication. The contents were to include designers’ learning and growing journeys, their design philosophy and believes, their design process and style using some of their design work.
I went with the group of illustrative and experimental designers- Alex Trochut, Stefan Sagmeister and James Victor.
My concept was to tell a story about how these successful designers would be nothing without some of the special people in their lives. “I Would Like to Thank”, like what someone would say when they were to receive an award and make a speech.

The book itself is section sewn with a white leather and the embossed quotation marks. Gold gilded edges of the paper to
give it a sophisticated, expensive and genuine feel.
