Since becoming a student in our nation's capital in 2009, I couldn't help but explore my new city. These are pictures I've captured around the monuments, on the National Mall, and in various neighborhoods. I wanted to get past the idea that DC is solely a place for politics and government; it is a place rich in history and beauty.
