Raw, hairy and brutal. That’s how a naked bear is. A nude that symbolizes the ability to ignore those impositions that prevent us from being spontaneous and authentic, exactly what Rendibú Multimedia Arts Contest also symbolizes.
The concept ‘Pelo is Beautiful' is consistent with the storyline of the contest previous editions as it shows his very nature, totally devoid of flourishes and corsets.
These qualities were reflected in a series of photographs featuring authentic human bears: hairy people who exhibit their body hair without complexes and act according to their instinct.

Crudo, peludo y bestial. Así es el destape de un oso y así quedó la campaña promocional para el concurso bienal de Artes Multimedia Rendibú 2014. Un desnudo que simboliza la posibilidad de ignorar aquellas imposiciones ajenas que nos impiden ser espontáneos y auténticos.
‘Pelo is Beautiful’ es un concepto coherente con la línea evolutiva de las anteriores ediciones del festival. Un alarde reivindicativo de su propia naturaleza, aquella desprovista de artificios y corsés, la más peluda de todas.
Estas cualidades son plasmadas en una serie de fotografías protagonizadas por auténticos osos y osas humanos: gente peluda que exhibe su vello corporal sin complejos y actúa según su instinto.
