Cuisinart is a leading kitchen appliance brand in the U.S. To support the brand and its community of cooks and food lovers, I develop social strategies that position Cuisinart as an authority and trusted voice within the food and cooking industry. I do this while also generating organic conversation about the their products and how they can help improve customers' cooking.
Taking advantage of the buzz holidays naturally generate, I ensure Cuisinart generates topical conversation by posting fun, relevant content that followers can easily engage with, share, and align themselves with.
The Food & Drink community on Pinterest is huge, and with every diet and taste respresented there, I led Cuisinart's Pinterest account tp creating boards that cater to each taste. Most are categorized by types of recipes while specific boards pair products with the recipes people can prepare with them.
In 2013, Cuisinart knew it had to be on Instagram but it lacked of enough original visual content to post to the platform on a regular basis. To resolve this, I adapted the content strategy to instead highlight user-generated content posted by Cuisinart's many loyal customers. As a result, customers and their culinary efforts are embraced by the brand and the intimate food-loving community has since grown to over 4600 followers.
