People of Cuba

Last month we traveled to Cuba for a personal photo/film project starring the people of Havana.
This album shows some of the people we’ve met and portrayed during our trip, who allowed us a glimpse into their ordinary lives.

Álvaro Marquez is 71 years old. Unfortunately lost his wife four months ago, but he is still working as local farmer with his bulls Fortress & Avenger (Santa Cruz de los Pinos, Cuba)

Ernesth Maldonado, 79 years, employee at a cigar plantation. After the harvest the leaves go into a drying proces of five months before they can roll the actual cigars (Las Ovas, Cuba)
