Competition project. The Golden Gates of Kyiv is a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev and historic gateway in the ancient city fortress, located in the capital of Ukraine. Currently, it serves as a museum and can be found on the corner of Volodymyr street and Yaroslaviv Val Street (Yaroslav's Moat).
The basic idea is to create a tethering post for modern 'iron horses' and to interlace it visually with the historical context of the place. A bike is easy to tie to a chain which hangs off the horizontal beam of the structure.
