Custom hand-printed wedding stationery
a wide variety of custom-designed and handmade wedding invites
I’ve enjoyed working with couples to create a variety of beautiful custom wedding designs. Weddings are one of the few occasions that most people have the opportunity to commission hand-crafted, individually tailored designs to express their personal style. Some folks come to me with a fairly specific idea of what they want, or a handful of visual references, while others have just said “we love your style, make something special for us!” Either way, it’s always a pleasure to create something personal for such an exciting event.

Katie and Matthew’s wedding stationery: hand-silkscreened, coordinated designs for invitation, reply card, and reception card. Katie loved one of my greeting card designs and asked me to modify it for her wedding designs.
Anna and Matthew's wedding suite was such a pleasure to create. I worked with the wonderful mother of the bride to come up with a full suite of gorgeous, luscious and traditionally feminine designs, with this lush botanical peony border printed in metallic gold ink on the invites. Letterpress printed on Crane's Lettra paper.
Rebecca and Biran's Wedding Suite: I had so much fun working on this project! Rebacca suggested a vintage-inspired floral border and chose a delicate modern script for this wedding suite. The final result was a gorgeous collection of letterpress-printed stationery on Crane's cotton-rag Lettra paper stock.
Laura & Aaron's wedding suite: double-sided, digitally printed. Laura first contacted me to create a custom Ketubah design and then the project expanded to include the wedding invitations and full suite. Laura and Aaron brought me lots of ideas for inspiration: the wedding took place outside in the Redwood Grove at their local park, so they sent me images of the redwoods and vines and flowers that grow in their local woods, and I used those as a basis for the illustrations that adorn their wedding suite. And I loved making all the hand-drawn type!
Amy and George's wedding invitation:  I created a custom wedding invitation design using motifs interpreted from the couple’s beloved antique Russian tea set.
Julie and Rebecca’s Ketubah: Julie and Rebecca also commissioned me to make a hand-painted Ketubah (that's the traditional Jewish wedding document) for their ceremony. I designed a leafy border, to create a visual connection with the invitation design, and used watercolor inks to paint the viney border, and felt-tip pens to make the hand-drawn italic text.

Abner's Baby Shower Invites: Custom design for baby shower invitation. Mama's friends told me that owls are her favorite animal, so we chose friendly owls as the motif for the invites.
Shelley and John’s wedding invitation: Shelley and John were looking for a classic, nautical style for their invitations to a summer wedding set on the Maine coast. They brought me this fantastic idea: a three-fold, double-sided piece that combines invitation and RSVP card, looks beautiful and conserves paper. The RSVP postcard is perforated so it can be torn away to mail back. I designed a custom map, inspired by the old nautical charts they used to line their envelopes. The invitation was letterpress-printed on Crane’s pearl white 110 lb. Lettra paper.
