About the Project:
In this project we were aimed to choose a fashion/jewellery brand to create and design logo for them but in the Arabic version. After my research on brands I choose (Chopard) Chopard is a famous luxirous brand for watchmaking and jewellery.Chopard logo is special in thee way the caligraphy is drawn and its richness in details

Step One:
To be able to create the Arabic logo for Chopard I had to make a huge research on their company.This research helped me to understand their way of thinking,their style, their philosophy and strategy, their values,exploring who are their target market,what colors do they use and their overall theme. Since their company is famous and luxirous this means it is for high class rich famous people.thay care to give their costumers this special care for each oiece they will get. They have several valus which the company works on them such as creativity,Independence,quality and excellence and heritage.This rich philosophy and concept of the company make the responsability huge on me to provide a great well designed Arabic logo for them. In this step I also created a mood board Chopard Arabic logo in one of the malls for Chopard

I analyzied Chopard logo to understand how the design is working. Analyze the grid and the anatomy of theletters. To be able to design the Arabic logo from a Lating logo,we must study the logo. Studying is an important step,it make us to realise these small details.Be able to understand how the letters are combined and how they are designed,realize the varities from each letter.

Step Four: 

is for sketching and sketching all in manual ,to feel the sense of design and do define the problems that is struggling
me. Try to find solutions for the problems that face me while designing the logo by trying different possabilities and choices. Start to design the logo on illustrator and define the most suitabel choice and design. 

 

Solving out the problems,the kerning thespacces between the letters. Trying to make the Chopard Arabic logo in the same theme of the original Latine one,to have both as one identity.

is for finalyzing the final steps for the logo. What I did is that i kept the direction of the letters the same and did not flipped it ,I tried to use as much charecterist from the Latin logo and engage it into the Arabic logo. The C in Chopard is speacial so I decided to use it as it is but with some small changes ,so the C was used in both two different letters in the (sheen) ش and in the (dal) .د 

This way my logo has been solved and worked well and gave the same theme as the original one. I took feed back from other to see how much the logo I designed is working and they assume that its already there and not me who designed it! This was so great,they thaugt that its for Chopard company already!
