The urn is built with 5 elements: 3 ceramic and 2 wooden. Wooden parts were done on a lathe, ceramics were cast.
Ceramic is easy to engrave. This place is perfect to write a date of deceased or something personal.
In polish law it's forbidden to keep an urn at home. There is only a possibilty to keep a small part of ashes of deceased. Usually people put them to a small reliquary. I designed a kind of reliquary which is built in whole urn and is also a candlestick. After a funeral it can be taken home.
