Objective: The organization suggested the logo to be of two people holding hands, symbolizing their role in serving as a helping hand for their neighbors. Since the hand illustration was quite complex, I made the bordering circle quite simple. It was essential to have a shape around the hands, considering that the arms do not really have any point of origin within the logo itself. I added a small gradient and drop shadow to give some interest.
