This project is a rebrand of a pizza shop in Donora, Pa. Marty's Pizza did not have an established logo, menu design, or brand standards. My role was to create entirely new print materials and make visually appealing designs. I started with the logo creation. After that, I made items, such as business cards, menus, t-shirts, and more. This project is a rebrand of a small town pizza shop located in Donora, Pa. Marty's Pizza is a privately owned shop that serves a wide variety of menu items. I served as the freelance graphic designer throughout the project, and worked alone throughout the process.

I wanted to create the basic rebrand items, including a logo, business cards, a menu, and t-shirts. These designs are still within the pitching stage and are not currently being used by the company.
Marty's Pizza has never established a logo for their business. After careful consideration, this is the final version of the logo. I wanted to keep the logo as simple as possible, yet have the ability to show off the personality of the company.

I feel as if using the pizza icon as the "A" in Marty's Pizza was best fit for their identity. The colors also represent the colors of pizza sauce and cheese.
The most important piece to distribute for a food business is the menu. Marty's had a one-sided, simplistic menu, lacking photos, illustrations, a logo, and hierarchy. I wanted to create something visual as well as professional.

I utilized stock photography for the food items, and created original illustrations for the logo and shapes. These pieces were made in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
Marty's workers wear t-shirts advertising the business. I decided to utilize both positive and negative space with white and black t-shirt colors.
Overall, my favorite part of this project was coming up with something entirely new with no direction. It was challenging to understand a company with little background information and turning the rebrand into something I can be proud of.
