Project Brief
This is a joined diploma project by me and my classmate Troy Vasanth to create a short animation film for an estimated duration of eight minutes that deals with the urban sanitation problems.
The film also talks about the general urban problems such as congestion, pollution and slum living conditions through two different characters living in different conditions and how one person’s desperate measure of finding a solution causes problem for the others. To make the people aware of the existing situation in the urban space with a hilarious story line.
To experiment with the combination of classical Animation and 3D computer generated animation. To use the strengths and weaknesses of both mediums to our advantage.

The story is about a slum tenant who sets out to do his morning duties and a series of unfortunate events that causes a barrier for the purpose he had set for. He finds a way out and accomplishes his goal which in turn seeds another problem for a different group of people. The film depicts the basic problems caused by urban growth such as lack of space and infrastructure, sanitation problems, Pollution, density and the inter relationship with each other.

Work Segregation
The whole process of film making was divided according to our strengths and weaknesses. We worked on individual processes by dividing the work amongst us. We had the experience of the same space but with different perspectives which made us work on the concept individually and later we combined it to develop the story. The story, story boarding and character designing were done commonly with both our inputs. A lot of discussions were made before finalizing any of the aspects. In the Production and post production stage we had clear separation of work as follows,
