The ‘Association de Soutien aux Médias Libres’ is a non-prot supporting the development of independent, professional and sustainable media in Syria. 

Access to objective and veried information is crucial to build an informed public opinion, build bridges between alienated communities and set the foundations for national reconciliation. Also, inuential media can help reduce the radicalization of the population through providing access to a wide array of thoughts and moderate opinions and spreading values of peace and tolerance. To enable Syrian media to fulll this role, ASML supports, trains and accompanies emerging independent Syrian media towards professionalism. Since 2011, ASML is involved in Syria to set the ground for a better future.
