In early 2015 the American based gymnasium, “The Gym” approached me to design a logo. Initially their favour was to have something in the style of the builder illustration done some months back. After some discussion it was decided that for the necessary flexibility in the print and merchandise fields, it would be better in vector.
As their gymnasium grew, they requested a unisex view of the company, and requested that a female character should be done to compliment the male version. Some research was done and a sketch was presented to the company, which was approved. This is the process and design of the complimenting female strong woman.
