Wall painting Project
I just get the third place in this contest,
but feel like this is a good project, so here it is.
Total liberty for these project…Then so hard to focus on an idea.
The challenge was to propose a wall decoration for a school hall / city info-point
in pregassona, disctrict of Lugano - CH
Three ideas I left because not so suitable to the both uses of the place, city info-point / school hall.
Interesting mix but not such a good composition for the wall size...
Interesting idea for the school hall, but for the city info-point...?
This seemed to be good a vision of comunication, interaction between people of the quarter.
But at the end, i choosed the following idea, so hard to make up my mind in these cases, real dilema.
Thought that was so important to speak to the people how pass through this hall,
not just embellish the place.
The deal was to find a theme that could concern everyone, from children to adults.
Ecology and clean energy sources seems to me a real purpose, universal, ageless and timeless.
Began to try to figure the city of the future, a fantastic evolution of the "Quartier".
Color mood research...
Two way to read this picture,
young children will see a city swamped with nature, animals...
An older eye will recognize the theme of sustainability, and clean energies.
