graphic genesis of smell
The concept is a graphic visualization of everyday life smells, the impact of something elusive and impressional on graphic language. Each of us may react differently to the same stimulus, which is why my work is subjective and reflect my personal experience.
The component of the project is five graphic compositions and a set of pictograms. Based on the analysis and the genesis of selected five fragrances pictograms assigned to the components of scents were designed. Compositions have been constructed based on the graphic signs. Each fragrance composition consists of four pictograms, each of which has two versions, one plotted on a grid, thoughtful and very laconic and the other made manually, impressional and spontaneous.
The aim of this study was to draw recipient attention on the surrounding odors and try to encourage them to deeper reflection and analysis on the subject.
