The brief required us to design a vinyl cover for an existing album title of our choice and supporting components which included a booklet insert, vinyl sticker, i-Tunes thumbnail, and the option of including a gig flyer

My Solution: I selected the album: Coexist (2012) by The XX. They are well known for the single 'x' graphic used on their album covers. This simplistic style inspired my creative approach. My concept is derived from the word 'coexist' and it's meaning
This album translates heartbreak, loneliness and intimacy, all of which inspired the theme within my booklet.
Each image, photographed and directed by myself, depicts a woman unclothed.This representation implies the longing that she feels toward her absent partner and their failing relationship as stated by their lyrics
