I have this small collection of antique objects. And in it is this tiny perfectly preserved (mummified rather ) Green Scarab Beetle. Interesting thing is that it isn't a native species of India and I have no idea how and when it came to be there. When i looked it up on the internet, this beetle is a symbol for Khepera- Egyptian solar deity. so here it is, my take on the motif of Khepera inspired by this mystery beetle grin emoticon
