BACKGROUND & BRIEF

Indias cultural diversity adds to the complexity of picking a palette of colours that would be perceived well and acceptable, hence implementing the colours shared by their sport idols was a key opportunity prior to the Cricket World Cup.

The project brief started off with researching a fresh colour palette for reintroducing the Flip2, our highest selling portable speaker with an 80% share in the Indian market to revive sales, however upon identifying the huge potential with the result of colour palette research and with the positive response from our Indian counterpart, it soon expanded from a single product into a limited edition range of products that generated even more business for Harman.
