Dear Dad,
Happy Birthday! Sorry to say you're no longer here to celebrate though... However, I shall still mark the occasion and honour your memory by visiting one of our favourite spots on the Camel Trail today. It's been nearly a year now since you passed and I still miss you dearly, but I've been working through the grief. The hardest part is regretting not having spent more time with you before the end... Alas, there is nothing that can done about that now, so I take comfort in remembering the good times instead. I must admit that occasionally I do get angry, for you were a very difficult person at times, but you were my father which means my love for you is unconditional and undying.
