Since 1990, Dr. Frank Brettschneider has served as president of Port Huron ENT in Michigan. In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Frank Brettschneider supports the work of several organizations, including the United Way.

In recent press release, United Way Worldwide announced the opening of its new United Way Center on Human Trafficking & Slavery, which will bring together political and community leaders from around the world to develop and implement solutions focused on putting an end to modern slavery. A variety of nonprofit groups, government leaders, and anti-trafficking advocates gathered to celebrate the center’s opening at a forum held June 23, 2015, at United Way Worldwide’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia.

During the forum, attendees took part in cross-sector discussions and worked to launch partnerships to combat human trafficking and provide support for those who have been affected by the practice. United Way Worldwide also used the event to announce that it has become a Made In A Free World organization, a step that will help ensure that all the goods and services it purchases are derived from ethical sources.
