Since October 2014 I have written content and provided art direction and picture research for THE BEAT, We Are Africa's edit of African travel news. This includes pitching ideas to the Event Manager, briefing associated elements, including video, and overseeing the production of each edition.

 

My contribution includes:

- Overseeing creation of several recent issues
- Writing original content including research, picture research and interviews
- Art direction for each JPEG newsletter and individual web article
- Scheduling emails and monitoring analytics
