Sofar Sounds- Campaign Design

This was a class room project largely done on hypothetical basis. The aim was to come up with a communication campaign for a particular product.
Sofar Sounds curates 'secret gigs in unique spaces all around the world.' 

Project Duration: 4 Weeks
Project Background:
As Sofar Sounds has a loose Identity usage, visual language and how it's to be used with adaptation to a new location or their extensions, I decided to formalise it a bit in terms of branding. Why black and white? Well, because it's indie and most of these gigs are organised by 'scenesters' from their own pocket without the backing of sponsors.

The evolved identity was then carried forward to promote the first season of Sofar Sounds curated shows in India. As there is a lack of sponsored monies, promotion for such independent events happen mostly through word of mouth, social media, websites, promotional videos, media partnership, merchandise and such.

Through the visual language I have tried to carry forward the nostalgic, intimate connection the fan holds with an artist without the distracting blabber of others. A private bubble of reality, intertwined between the artist and the fan. Something, Sofar Sounds takes pride in promoting.
