A live installation of video and dance, a celebration of Afro Caribbean dance and music!

Dancer/Educator Lydia Pérez and multi-genre artist Shey Rivera present a special collaboration: a live installation of elements of the Mother Nature, Water, Air, Earth and Fire with Afro Caribbean dance, projection and video. Followed by a musical walkthrough of the roots of Afro Puerto Rican  rhythms,  Bomba and Plena, led by Lydia Perez, and a musical performance by the internationally renowned musical ensemble YORUBA 2.

The event was held on June 26, 2015 at  AS220 BLACK BOX THEATER , 95 Empire St., Providence, RI.  The event commemorated the Day of San Juan Bautista of Puerto Rico.  Thanks to the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA), AS220 for bringing the "Caribbean Arts Program" to Downtown, Providence, Rhode Island.
