The guidelines were simple. Create the best image you've ever made with the intention of it being the closing piece in your graduating portfolio. So, I decided to create a gown made entire of garbage bags, tape, staples and wind. I was somehow inspired by childhood Barbie cakes that I never received and by Fantaplastique. I wanted her to be portrayed as some sort of powerful dictator and a warrior. I am quite happy with how it turned out, and I will be revisiting this in the new year with a companion white dress.
