Southland Park is located just over the bridge from Memphis. It’s a fierce competitor with the 18 casinos located about 50 miles away in Tunica, Mississippi, which is one of the largest gambling areas outside of Las Vegas. But to get there, one must take mostly deserted roads through the backcountry of Mississippi. It can be scary.

In the three years that I worked on this account, including this campaign, Southland almost doubled its revenues and visitors: 2011 had $99 million in revenue and 1.9 million visitors; 2014 had $180 million in revenue and 3.7 million visitors.
