APOLLO 11 POSTCARDS
At 20:18 on July 20th 1969 man ventured onto the surface of another celestial body besides the Earth for the first time in history. 45 years later I decided to use this momentous event as the inspiration for these postcard designs and their hand embossed packaging.
PACKAGING & PRINTING
Hand embossed packaging featuring an astronaut helmet on the front and wind around packaging on the back. I replaced the orange areas on the designs above with gold foil, channeling the heat reflective foil found on areas of the the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
