The design was inspired by the nature of the powerboat. Strong lines were used to make the boat unique compared to the competitors. Colours were restricted to only black and white so that it was consistant with the branding of iCode. Promotional caps were also designed for the team by using the elements from the boat design. The boat was displayed for the first time at the Trans Agulhas Challenge 2011.
