Armasaurios (Primera parte, 1-16)
"Armasaurios" es una colección de 28 láminas ilustradas y 35 armables de cartulina, publicadas con el diario El Popular de Perú. A pesar del nombre, no sólo hay dinosaurios, sino que también se incluyó otros animales prehistóricos. Yo estuve a cargo de las ilustraciones de las láminas y los diagramas del reverso; la diagramación y los armables fueron hechos por otros diseñadores.
Fue un trabajo arduo y complejo, que requirió la entrega de al menos 4 ilustraciones por semana incluyendo ajustes y correcciones, durante casi dos meses. ¡Es lo más que he ilustrado en mi vida! Lo bueno es que he ganado muchísima velocidad con esto.
Se me pidió en varios casos que los animales tuvieran colores vivos y brillantes; también que se distinguiesen del fondo o del entorno - por eso a veces la luz del fondo no parece coincidir con la del animal mismo.
Actualmente (diciembre 2011) van publicadas 16 láminas, cuando se haya publicado todas subiré el resto.

"Armasaurios" is an ongoing collection (as of December 2011) of 28 illustrated factsheets and 35 papercraft animals distributed with El Popular newspaper in Peru. Despite the name, there are also other kinds of animals included aside from dinosaurs. I was in charge of the main illustrations and the diagrams in the back - layouts and the papercraft animals were done by other designers.
This was an arduous and complex job, I was required to turn in an average of 4 drawings per week, including adjustments and corrections, for almost two months. It's the most I've ever drawn in my life! I have gained a lot of speed for it though, so that's a positive.
I was asked in many cases to give the animal some bright colors; also, the background was to be sort of "disconnected" from the animal - that's why in some cases the light doesn't seem to match between animal and setting.
Currently 16 sheets have been published, I'll upload the rest when the collection is over.

Acerqué el punto de vista del espectador, pero a la vez el tamaño y el largo del animal eran tan grandes que tuve que darle un efecto diatinto a la perspectiva.
I closed in the POV somewaht, to emphasize the size of the creature, but its length was so vast I had to do some tricks of perspective on this.

Fue muy difìcil encontrar referencias útiles para este animal. Probablemente haya algunas imprecisiones pero se ve bien.

Me pidieron especìficamente hacerlo sin plumas, a pesar de que posiblemente las tenía.
