Painting two Barons for Salisbury Barons Trail 2015

This Baron is cloaked in the foliage of the seasons. Draping his shoulders is Hawthorn and May blossom, representing spring. Summertime has oak leaves and acorns. The autumn has rich orange leaves and winter has icy blues encasing the holly and berries. The sword is decorated with Yew berries and blossom. This Baron celebrates the countryside foliage and folklore.

Waitrose sponsored The Greenman Baron and is outside of their Salisbury supermarket.

This was such a lovely project to work on. I enjoyed having these two five foot Barons in my studio.
