In My Room is a visual essay analyzing the perception of feminine bedrooms. Targeting a demographic of young adults, I asked participants to photograph their personal spaces and to write a brief description of its importance. With varying responses, I curated this research to create a narrative acknowledging the symbolism and significance of identity, sex, religion, and loss in intimate spaces.
