A board of cracked London Plane guided this coffee table into fruition: working with the timber invariably proves to be the best path. This side table was designed to be taken apart should one wish to do so; the maple pegs in the top of the legs and the struts bridging the gap are simply friction fitted, as glue would add no real benefit.
