3D Camera Calibration
During this project, I was tasked to take a 2D photo and convert it into a 3D space with some sort of element living in the new environment. I found a photo of a warehouse with garage doors. I immediately thought, I could make these doors open and reveal the contents within. After covering the photo into a 3D space, I added rooms for each door. As for the element within, I added a bunch of highly reflective balls that would fall out as soon as the doors opened. Here is the final result:
Here was a test render of what the animation would look like. I did this to get an idea of what the balls would look like with reflections and to double check my lighting.
This is a screenshot to show the physics and layout of my scene. It shows the 3D elements that would interfere with the balls in order to give the illusion that the whole scene was 3D.
