A lounge chair that desires to be thought of as a composition of three discrete formal elements/visual sensations, rationalized as a search for an ornamental language, and an experiment in absurdity.
Pyrimidal components of the understructure were welded using a small jig.
They were then assembled on a larger jig and welded once more.
Stainless steel cylanders were capped on each end with stainless steel domes, encasing a threaded rod inside.  These shapes were then grinded and polished to a mirror finish.
The legs were screwed onto the understructure.
A steel bracket bent to an angle provides support for the back.
