One Thames Way
One Thames Way is designed in preparation for the Great Flood, in accordance with the newest global warming data and as a direct response to the general paranoia and insecurity of the elite.
The building will incorporate luxury survival apartments designed and equipted according to their owner’s needs, food growing areas, and a hedonistic pantry fully stocked with expensive food items and exquisite wine and spirits . As the flood envelops London, each unit of housing becomes not just financially valuable, but also existentially precious.
One Thames Way is set to be fully operational by 2075, when it is predicted that the rising sea level will reach 16m in the south east of London.
London is facing a serious threat, as global temperatures increase, causing sea water levels to rise. It is predicted that the Thames Barrier will no longer be able to prevent the water from enveloping the city. Within 20 years, the barrier will become inoperational, and floods will begin to reshape the contour of the city.
One Thames Way provides the elite with a safe space, where they can continue their lifestyle, without being disturbed by the catastrophic events happening outside the establishment.
Elevation of One Thames Way - Half of the building will be underground ensuring an ideal temperatures all year round. The top half will serve as a dam structure. The windows observed in the pictures are mere faux windows designed to appeal to the public before the building can be used.
