Varius is an academic project aim to design a lifestyle magazine for the city of Varese.

Varius take inspiration from the existing lifestyle magazines from all over the world, like The Good Life and Monocle. The concept is create a free-press magazine for the citizens, aim to inform about the city projects, and also to promote the image of Varese out of his boundaries.

Each number of the magazine have an insert that talk about a specific building or monument in the city. All the inserts together, collected in a year, will give a tourist and cultural guide of Varese.

Varius is conceived as a versatile product. For this reason we've create also a web-site and an application for the smartphone. The users can also read the magazine contents through the web, in a faster way, just selecting the interested theme areas through an icon system already present in the papery version.
