Mud Project, 2012, Bozcaada.

A two phased architectural project which is focusing on the two different parts of an island :
surroundings of a ruin and the down-town.
The program is a dance school,
but the proposal gains more detailed phases
through the explorations of movement,
human body, nature and relationships of each other.

Ahead of the transcripts, attempts to understand the space and similarities / imitations between surrounding lines and positions of my body. Respectively; ground, tree branches, slope, wind, man-made intervention, rocks, synergy of wind-water, movements of the sun and creating different lines of these movements in the ground and space / air. Intertwinement of all of these lines with the run and the other uncertain movements of my body.

“…All movements are mixed together : movement workshop, body poses, the wind, wind turbines and run in Ayazma…”.
“ Mud.project ”, 2012, body transcripts.

Transcript represents the mergence of wind, human body and all movements of it as a section. Each structure which is actual part of the project and acts with the wind movements, is fundamentally a body extension, therefore there is no difference to represent this section with a real architectural element or a body part. All of them build as a whole.

When every element which was tried to design with inspiring from human body changes the standing with help of the wind, this new position can be inspirational for all dancers that act beneath the structures and on the ground or “mud”, and their new figures.
