What could Volkswagen develop for the game Gran Turismo next?
During the last semester, our team tempted to answer to this problematic by imagining a brand new vehicle and a new driving experience keeping in mind the association with Gran Turismo. An analysis of the game, its story and its founder "Kazunori Yamauchi" allowed us to project ourselves in what could be the futur gameplay of Gran Turismo. More and more, the game trends to focus on the design approach in collaboration with several car manufacturers and Volkswagen continues to be present in the GT Story. Today, more than a race game, Gran Turismo shows itself as a "Showcase" that promotes the vision of brands, but recently the game developers pushed the limits to explore new ways for the players: Red Bull X2010, Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision GT, Lunar Rover Exploration testify of a new funny run-up in the game.
Our aim for this project was to go further in this way in order to propose to the players a new experience and some fun.

FINAL DEVELOPMENT SKETCHES
Using the proposals from the team, we started by sketching the final design of the vehicle, improving the design, sketches after sketches, in order to have precise and detailed sketches for the 3D modeling.
To start the exterior design development, we started by the realization of a 1:1 scale tape drawing, to validate the final proportions of the vehicle.
3D MODELING & COMMUNICATION RENDERS
In order to achieve the final communication of the project, we work in collaboration with 2 digital designers : Maxence Texier & Jimmy Brullefert.
