The Loop along with Disrupt Surfing held a competition in early 2015 for their consumer base to design a range of surfboards that represented emotion, connection and ideas that surrounded the lifestyle. I had the chance to put together three different designs. While I didn't place in the competition, it was definitly an experience designing a long way from what I'm used to with the corporate and structured designs that I'm normally involved with.
The surfing life is a community of people, places and vibes. This board represents this lifestyle - elements of the atmosphere around us all connected as one.
Board Variations
Every clean cut turn is dreamed about. Water overlapping in an array of excitement, colour, suspense and texture as it surges adventure into the life of a simple human being.
It's always the goal, and once reached the boundaries are pushed further. All the energy poured into surfing harder, riding bigger waves and gliding through faster.
