FLOWERS are aesthetically pleasing and can smell amazing but no flower lasts forever. Although some flowers appear to last for a long time, all flowers eventually go though stages of decay. This is part of the plant's natural reproductive process; once the flower has been polinated, the plant no longer needs the flower and instead focuses its energy on seed production. Understanding the stages of flower senescence or decay is useful for catching flowers at their peak.
Relationships are like that too.
