The log re-design has two variations - the one chose for the cover of this projects was the owners preferred version. It was tricky and most likely one of the most difficult logos due to the owners indecision. I've done more then a few and she simply wanted a new design but was against change at the same time. Very tricky.
I've posted some sample ad designs that I did while being the Quik Quarters graphic designer and then editor... even there she was against change when she initially hired me to re-vamp the paper entirely.
Even more sadly, the changes that I had finally managed to get to the layout of said paper reverted back to before (actually worse) right after I had left employment there. Sad since the paper itself had such potential!
