This project was for my freshman design class. I was asked to design a self-promotional piece highlighting my portfolio of work. It was completely open-ended as to the execution, provided I used traditional graphic design elements/applications.
I chose to design a cigar box filled with small postcards of my work. Each card is labeled on the back with an icon indicating what skills I used (photography, illustration, or design.)
The postcards were wrapped in a cigar band and then enclosed in gold paper emblazoned with a sticker printed with the brand. I then sealed the box with an import seal so that my professor had to open it like a real box of cigars.
