THE SWEET ABSENCE
GOAL This short film is done to encourage people to disconnect themselves from social media which distract them from reaching their inner selves sometimes. It is inspired by a quote from the writer Milan Kundera of the Czech Republic "By pursuing solitude, we then could maybe enjoy the sweet absence of those looks we live under. "
APPROACH The heart in the film is a metaphor for "inner self". It begins with clogged social media connections, and then cleanses by disconnecting and finally becomes the birthing ground for inner beauty. "Don't be afraid, you have just got your eyes closed" by the Icelandic band Mum was the soundtrack used in the film.
