Medium: Hand-stitching on canvas shoes

For SL Magazine's Design Issue, local designers were asked to customize a pair of white sneakers. This design includes hand-stitched details and the addition of tartan to the tongue and back panel. In addition a shoelace decoration is present. The characters on the shoes were stitched rather than drawn on to make pattern resistant to fading.
