Four Fold publishes digital artists’ books that merge literature, art, and touch to create a tactile and evocative reading experience.The first series of publications are Portraits, short visual stories that delve deep into the human psyche. Four Fold is currently demo-ing with a digital triptych titled: “Inez, Ezra, and Yara.” Inez (2/3) paints the portrait of a woman as she conceals herself in color, Yara (1/3) the portrait of a woman as she loses the lines of her palms, and Ezra (3/3) the portrait of two women from the eyes of a man.
Book 1 imagines a secondary visual narrative with each swipe of the page. Book 2 reveals a story as you glide your finger across the screen, and Book 3 pulls you deeper and deeper into the psyche of one mind with each tap of the page.
